Ginataan is a Filipino cooking method that means "cooked in coconut milk". Ginataang Tilapia is a dish where Tilapia is cooked coconut milk or cream and served with vegetables like malunggay and eggplant. Spinach can be added too. It depends on your taste bud.

Ingredients:
2 lbs tilapia, cleaned (about 2 to 3 pcs)
3 cups coconut milk
1 medium onion, sliced
3 gloves garlic, minced
1 knob ginger, sliced
1 tbsp patis or fish sauce
2 tbsp oil
2 cups malunggay
Procedure:
1. Saute ginger, garlic and onion in hot oil
2. Add the fish sauce and pour coconut milk and stir until oil from coconut milk comes out.
3. Lower the heat and add tilapia and simmer for 10mins
4. Add malunggay and simmer for another minute.
5. Serve hot with rice!
