I made this just earlier. I was planning to make the typical doughnut but realized that I don't have enough oil to use for deep frying so I searched other recipe and found this baked doughnut. I don't have all the required ingredients so I just used whatever I have and it still turned out great!
Ingredients:
3 cups all purpose flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
1 cup milk
Procedure:
1. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt and set aside.
2. Blend 1/2 cup and 2 tbsp of butter and 1 cup sugar then add 2 eggs. Mix them thoroughly.
3. Mix the flour mixture to butter mixture and add the milk.
4. Preheat oven to 350 F
5. Pour batter into a muffin pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown.
6. Melt the remaining 6 tbsp of butter
7. Mix 1/2 tsp of cinnammon and 1/2 cup sugar
8. While the baked doughnut is still warm, roll them into melted butter then to cinnamon sugar mixture.
Enjoy! :)
